- YDC and Telelogic Japan join forces to integrate YDC's advidePLUS® and Telelogic's Telelogic Tau® SDL Suite.
- The new integration package realizes source-level debug of the SDL, enabling software and hardware debug using a target system without a library for debug, and is released today.

- U-COP (Universal CAN Open Protocol) Programmer employs CAN, a network protocol widely used in the automotive industry, and supports processor-independent flash programming.

- YDC employs Motorola's Dragon Ball MX1 for T-Engine.
- YDC and Motorola agree to release the ubiquitous computing platform "T-Engine" for DragonBall MX1. T-Engine is the real-time system development platform of the eTRON architecture proposed by Professor Ken Sakamura of Tokyo University, while DragonBall MX1 is Motorola's ARM-RISC-based microprocessor for hand-held computers. T-Engine for DragonBall MX1 is expected to be widely used as the development system in various fields including software developent before completion of a target board.
