  • Digital Computer Ltd. is established as an open networking and communication systems builder.
1984
  • U-Systems Corporation is established as a FA/PA system house by Yokogawa Electric Corporation.
1988
  • U-Systems releases ADViCE, the in-circuit emulator for high-end MPU.
1989
  • U-Systems Corporation changes its name to Yokogawa U-Systems Corporation.
1990
  • Digital Computer and Yokogawa U-systems are merged and the new company is named as Yokogawa Digital Computer Corporation.
1992
  • Releases SAFE-U, the uninterruptible power supply unit with shutdown function for UNIX machines.
1993
  • Is authorized by Intel as one of the four official tool vendors of Intel's i386 in the world.
1994
  • Releases AD200-S50/PU500 Series, a new ADViCE family supporting high-speed CPUs.
  • Releases QuinSight, the monitoring and logging system software running on Windows.
1995
  • Becomes the first Japanese ICE manufacturer authorized as Motorola’s Platinum Developer.
  • ADViCE series wins the largest share in the Japanese ICE market.
  • Sets up its sales base of the ICE business in Silicone Valley to advance into the US market.
1996
  • Releases AF200, the advanced flash programmer.
1997
  • Sets up it sales base of the ICE business in UK to advance into the European market.
2000
  • Establishes a new company, transferring its entire business assets including the rights of trade, and names the new company as YDC Corporation.
  • Signs a distribution agreement with ARM Corporation of UK to distribute ARM’s development tools.
  • Is awarded the contract to develop Firmware Quality Measurement System by Information-Technology Promotion Agency (“IPA”).
2001
  • Separates its product business and establishes Yokogawa Digital Computer Corporation as an independent company specializing in the embedded systems business centered around the microcomputer development environments.
  • Releases advicePLUS, the in-circuit emulator that fits every development need from JTAG to a Full ICE.
2002
  • Is authorized as Approved Training Center (ATC) by ARM Corporation and starts the training program.
  • Releases microVIEW-STUDIO, the integrated development environment.
  • Participates the T-Engine Forum as a board member.
  • Releases T-Engine Solution and T-Engine Board.
  • Releases Memory Stick Protocol Analyzer.
  • Signs a SI Partner Agreement with Nihon Rational Software Co., Ltd.
  • Is awarded the contract to develop Standardization and Implementation of Debug Interface for Embedded Linux by IPA.

  • Releases FlexRay Starter Kit for FlexRay, the next generation in-vehicle LAN.
  • Releases advicePRO, the high-speed, large-capacity debug tool.
  • Participates in the platform OViA (Open, Value interface for your Application) of NEC Electronics.
  • Releases “microP-Self”, the development process self-diagnosis tool.
  • Signs a distribution agreement on MatrixQuest, the middleware for embedded system with TEPCO UQUEST, LTD.
  • Signs a resale agreement on RTX, Windows real-time add-on tool, and ReadyOn, Windows high-speed startup tool, with Ardence, Inc. (present Citrix Systems Inc.).
2006
  • Signs a development and distribution agreement on ARM SoC platform with NIPPON SYSTEMWARE CO., LTD.
  • Signs a distribution agreement on RCX (Real-time Critical eXtention) for Windows CE with CodeGear, Inc.
  • Releases FLEXcope Series including FlexRay communication bus analyzer, data generator, etc.
  • Signs a distribution agreement on TP InstantBoot, the Linux startup tool, with TriPeaks Corporation.
  • Signs a distribution agreement on Device Driver for Windows CE with CodeGear, Inc.
  • Signs a development tie-up and distribution agreement on PGRelief, the static analysis tool, with Fujitsu Software Technologies Ltd.
